The project “Expanding smart agricultural practices related to soil, nutrients and water in cotton production in Azerbaijan”, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and the International Atomic Energy Agency in 2022-2025, was successfully implemented.
The goal of the project was to develop and disseminate climate-based smart agricultural practices to expand cotton production in Azerbaijan in the context of global warming.
Associate Professor of the Department of Plant Protection of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Nazakat Ismayil-zadeh was awarded by the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture for her contribution to the project.
