An event dedicated to World Soil Day was held on December 5 at the Faculty of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU), organized by the Ecoforce club of the Student Youth Organization.
At the event, the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Khalig Khalilov and the Head of the Department of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, Professor Hasanali Aslanov, emphasized the importance of protecting soil resources, their efficient use, and raising awareness in this area.
Other speakers also said that the attention and approach shown to the soil is the basis of sustainable agriculture and that this responsibility is always relevant.
Finally, presentations on topical topics were made by the students of the faculty, and modern challenges and solutions related to soil science were discussed.
