On November 23, 2023, the Agricultural Innovation Festival was held in the Tovuz district. The event was organized by the Agricultural Innovation Center under the Ministry of Agriculture.
One of the main contributions of such festivals is the development of cooperation between private companies, cooperatives, and associations in the agricultural sector, as well as the exchange of experience.
At the official opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by the Head of the Tovuz District Executive Authority, Mammad Mammadov; Member of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Aydin Huseynov; and the Director of the Agricultural Innovation Center, Anar Jafarov.
As is tradition, the festival featured an exhibition and demonstration of agricultural products, as well as a training seminar for farmers on key issues in the field. The seminar focused on respiratory diseases in animals and their treatment.
The Azerbaijan State Agricultural University also participated in the festival with its own stand.
