The Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) held a meeting with the Masters of Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, Agronomy and Soil Science, who were admitted to the Master’s Degree Program in the academic year 2021/2022.
A minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the Shehids, who died for the integrity of our lands, was observed at the event.
The Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, gave the Masters recommendations to improve the quality of research and spoke about the importance of developing foreign language skills.
Then Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Anar Khatamov, Head of the Education Department Elay Zeynalli and Head of the Science Department Elchin Nasirov informed the students about the new rules at the master’s degree, scientific approaches, application of modern rules in scientific research and regular monitoring of research.
At the end, the students' questions were answered.
It should be noted that in the academic year 2021/2022, 305 masters were admitted to the master’s degree program. Of these, 67 were admitted to 18 specializations in 6 specialties in agronomy, 32 - to 8 specializations in 2 specialties in soil science, 32 - to 8 specializations in 2 specialties in veterinary medicine, 14 - to 5 specializations in 2 specialties in zooengineering, 70 - to 15 specializations in 8 specialties in engineering, 20 - to 7 specializations in 4 specialties in agro-technology, 16 -to 3 specializations in 2 specialties in agricultural economics, 54 - to 10 specializations in 4 specialties in business organization and management.
