The High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan awarded the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences to Kazim Huseynov, Associate Professor of Plant Protection Department of the Faculty of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
In 1988-1996 Kazim Huseynov worked as a senior agronomist in the Karabakh State Farm of the Agdam district. From 1996 to 2020, he worked at the Plant and Plant Protection Research Institute as an Associate Scientist, Research Assistant, Principal Scientific Officer and Head of Department. Since 2020 he has been a teacher at the Department of Plant Protection of the Azerbaijan State Agricultutral University (ADAU).
In 2001 he defended his thesis on «Improvement of short-term and long-term prognosis of the development of the pest of grape clusters in Ganja-Gazakh region and information about the optimal time of control». In 2008 he received the title of associate professor of entomology, and in 2021 he received the title of doctor of biological sciences.
